Alberto Bacó Bagué is an attorney, CPA, and entrepreneur, with over 35 years of experience. He has a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from the University of Puerto Rico and a Juris Doctor. He began his career in 1979, holding several important jobs with law firms, international accounting firms, and high level positions in government agencies, among them as Executive Vice President of the Government Development Bank and President of the Economic Development Bank of Puerto Rico. After a long period in the private sector, in 2015 Bacó returned to public service as Secretary of the Department of Economic Development and Commerce of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
